10th ANNUAL RACE FOR LITERACY - A decade of helping kids go to school

The "Race For Literacy" is a professionally timed 5K/10K Run, 5K Walk organized by India Literacy Project (ILP) at Shoreline Park, Mountain View CA. The course is USA Track and Field certified.

Benefiting the literacy projects funded by ILP, this charitable event attracts about 800 participants spanning multiple ethnicity and age groups. Post-event festivities include a sumptuous breakfast, various kids and family events, raffle and award ceremony.

The 2008 edition of the race, the 10th Annual Race for Literacy, is poised to duplicate and exceed the success of the previous editions, building on the organizational strength, past successes and learning from the past events.
